6.
Selphie had pushed all the furniture in the rec room out of the way.  She was dressed in a tee shirt that was tied in a knot at her lower back and a pair of sweat pants.  The stereo was blaring “Lovestoned” by Justin Timberlake, which was why Ross stormed into the room looking like a tornado about to touch down.
He stopped just inside the room when he saw Selphie was dancing.  Wow, the nymph could move.  It was like watching a song video, damn, the woman could be one of JT’s back up dancers.  Ross felt someone step up behind him and looked over his shoulder to see Dante, also dressed in a pair of hurriedly pulled on pants.  It looked like Selph had woken the whole floor with Justin Timberlake.
It was a seriously crappy way for a hard rock musician to wake up.  Ross stalked over to the sterio and hit the mute button.  He turned to glare at Selphie.
“I do not want to be woken at seven am with Justin Timberlake – copy?”
Selphie pulled a face at him.  Ross was adorable when he was all sleep mussed and in a mood.  Selphie had to find a woman for this surly man.  He was more than hot enough that any woman would beg for the chance to be his, but it had to be just the right woman.  Hell, if he weren’t like a brother to her, Selphie would jump at the opportunity to get Ross alone.
“Turn yourself around, take yourself back to bed and when you get out again, do it on the right side, okay?”  She smiled sweetly at him.
      “Selphie.” He warned.
“I’m exercising Ross, you do too on occasion.”
“Why can’t you go to the gym like the rest of us and hit a punching bag.”
“Because I’m not a fighter silly, I’m a nymph so I exercise by dancing.”
“Selphie!” Ross growled again when her logic made sense and he had no other argument.
“Oh what is your problem with Justin?”
“I had to wake up to his caterwauling!”  Ross barked.
Dante stood with his back to the wall, his arms crossed over his bare chest and watched with a smile on his face.  One thing was for sure, since he’d become an Omega his life sure as hell hadn’t been boring.
“Oh phooey!  You’re just jealous that you can’t move the way he does.  Rock musicians are only good at head banging.”
Selphie had just tossed down the gauntlet and she done it on purpose.  Ross had to be shaken every once in a while or he tended to get excessively sarcastic and stuffy.  Today was the day she was going to wake him up a bit again.  In truth, she’d been hoping that he’d come to complain in when she’d started her exercise.  She wanted to get him out of the funk he’d been in for the last couple of weeks.  Selphie had a suspicion that Ross was envious of Seth and Drew.
Ross smiled, and Selphie had to hide her own - game, set and match.  He was going to take the bait.  She almost grinned when he said.
“What makes you think that all I’m good at is head banging?”
“You’re a rock musician.” Selphie shrugged, it was getting increasingly difficult to hide her amusement.  If she didn’t watch it she was going to burst with laughter and soon.
“Really?” He raised an eyebrow, tucking his long blonde bangs behind an ear.
Ross turned to the sterio and skipped the CD back to the beginning of the track.  He grabbed the remote off the top of the stereo and stepped in next to Selphie.
“Give me some room Nymph so I can show you how it’s done.”
She grinned at his surly tone.
“Do you need me to show you the steps?”  Selphie asked.
“No, I watched you, I can do it.”
Selphie went to stand next to Dante.
Dante grinned and asked her.  “So, do you think Hard Rock can dance the Hip Hop?”
“Oh I’m sure of it.” She smiled.
Ross raised a brow at Selphie and Dante, hit the play button on the remote and tossed it on the nearest couch.
He moved fluidly, hitting ever step with perfection.  Flowing between the snap and curl of the dance.  Curving his limbs flawlessly as he eased only to pop, jerking the movement to a stop.  He paused in the right places faultless only to pour into the next step.
Dante was impressed.  Selphie was grinning.
“I knew he could do it, our Ross is a man of many talents.”
Ross paused and raised a finger, and cocked it to call Selphie.
“Wohoo, lets dance!”  She yelled as she joined him in the center of the room.
Soon she was laughing as Ross danced next to her, grinning with enjoyment.  The grin really made the man breath taking.  He blonde bangs falling over an eye, as he bent forward for a step.  Selphie made a mental note to keep Ross grinning when his woman finally made an appearance.
“Come on Dante, don’t stand there like a wall flower.”  Selphie called the Omega.
“What the hell.”  Dante grinned as he joined them, laughing as he stuffed up just about every move, learning to keep up with the other two as they moved fluidly through the steps of the dance.

Kyle stood waiting outside the door of his old room for Sorcha to come out so they could go find Seth.  He didn’t want to risk the wrath of the feisty female by actually going into the room.  Or maybe he should… Would she be a bit more receptive if she woke up in his arms?  A naught smile played around Kyle’s lips as he considered going in and seeing what Sorcha would do if she woke up next to him.
He actually started phasing through the door when the loud music attracted his attention and he decided he’d been saved by the music and that going into Sorcha’s room was probably not a good idea.  So he followed the sound to the rec room.  When he walked in he started grinning.
“Hey!  Why didn’t anyone invite me.  I wanna have some fun too.”  He stepped in next to Dante and copied the dance moves, he had no problem keeping up and soon he was singing along to the song at the top of his voice.
This was the scene Sorcha walked in on.  She stood quietly near the door and watched them dance.  She felt a smile tug at her lips as she watched Kyle dancing with the others.  He was having a lot of fun, that much was apparent, but that he was frigging gorgeous, was the thing that got her attention, he was dancing like he’d been born to.  Sorcha soon forgot there were other Mythos in the room, her eyes were glued on Kyle.
He must have felt someone watching him because he looked up, straight into Sorcha’s eyes.  His grin when he saw her watching him, could only be described as wicked.  He danced over her, moving through the couch.  He looked straight at her as he sang.
“She’s got me love stoned… I think I’m love stoned…. She’s got me love stoned, think that she knows, think that she knows oh oh.”
Sorcha felt a blush heat up her cheeks.  She was beginning to realize that Kyle would relish teasing her, as he was doing right now.  Love stoned – really!  But she had to smile when he took her hands and stood in front of her still singing.
“She’s got me love stoned.  I think I’m love stoned.”
The effect on the rest of the room was instantaneous, Dante dived at the couch picking up the remote and muting the sound on the stereo.
In the sudden silence Kyle’s voice trailed off.  He turned still holding Sorcha’s hand and looked at the others.
“Oh my.” Selphie gasped.  “That would explain a lot.”
“Kyle?”  Ross asked in a shaky voice.
“You can see me?” Kyle had forgotten that Sorcha’s touch could make him corporeal.
Kyle let go of Sorcha and walked towards to Ross to hug the other man.  He passed right though Ross.
“You need to keep touching me Kyle.”  Sorcha reminded him.
She stepped forward and laid her hand on Kyle’s back.   Just putting her hand on his bare skin made a frisson of pleasure run up her arm.  She tried not to shiver.
Kyle became solid again, and wasted no time wrapping Ross in a bear hug.
      “Dude!  You can see me!”
Ross was so amazed he didn’t say anything he just hugged Kyle tight.
Kyle stepped back from Ross and hugged Selphie.  Sorcha felt a twinge of jealousy at that.
Oh get over yourself woman.  She told herself.  You’ve got no business lusting after a ghost, and sure as hell no business getting jealous when he touches another woman.
Kyle stepped back from Selphie and looked at Sorcha
      “Your jealous.” He grinned.
      “Am not!” She gasped.
“Yes you are, I’ve always been a good little empath, and I can feel it, you are jealous.”
Selphie laughed. “He’s telling the truth, some Lycos can pick up on emotions, some stronger than others, and Kyle has always been really strong.”
“Well he’s imagining thing today, I’m not jealous.”
“What ever you say Sorcha.” Selphie smiled.
“How?  Why?” Ross was still in shock.
“Hey Dante.  Its nice to finally introduce myself.”  Kyle greeted the newest Omega, clasping the other man’s forearm.
      “Hey.”
      “Kyle!”  Ross barked.
      “Yes?”
“Answer my questions, and Selphie, why aren’t you more surprised?”
Selphie looked down at her feet avoiding the question, before Ross could quiz her again Kyle answered him.
“How?  I died and became a ghost.  When?  I’ve been trapped in the damned mausoleum for frigging fifty years, got out a about two months ago, and I’ve been hanging round the compound since then.”
      “But…” Ross started.
“You can see me?” Kyle finished the sentence.
      “Yeah.”
      “Sorcha’s a Walker.”
Ross looked at Sorcha with new respect.  “I thought your powers weren’t active?”
“They weren’t, but yesterday I made Khaish corporeal.  Only I didn’t know Khaish was a ghost till Marcus pointed out I was touching a spirit sentin.  I saw Kyle the minute I got to the compound.  I just thought he was a rude Mythos.  It never occurred to me he could be a ghost.”
“You saw me.”  Kyle frowned at her.
      Sorcha nodded.
“Why the hell didn’t you say anything?”
“I didn’t get a chance to.”  She wasn’t going to admit to him that he’d flustered her with his comments.
“Seth is going to have an aneurysm.”  Ross remarked still smiling with pleasure.  Kyle’s death had been really hard on them all, but especially on Seth.  For a while there Ross had been scared that Seth would do something stupid.
“Where is Seth?”  Kyle asked, eager to talk to his brother.
“He went with Drew to fetch Brynn for a visit.”  Selphie told them.
“Well, well, why am I not surprised.” Gabriel’s interrupted from the doorway.
Kyle turned and grinned broadly at the angel.  “Gabe, long time no see.”
He stepped forward and Sorcha had to move fast to keep her hand on his back as he hugged the angel.
“We’re going to have to figure out another way of doing this”  She muttered.
“I had a feeling we hadn’t lost you completely.”  Gabriel told Kyle with a smile.
Then he looked past Kyle to tell Sorcha.  “I’m impressed Sorcha, you really are incredibly powerful.”
Sorcha smiled brightly, happy with the praise.  Kyle didn’t look happy.  He gave Gabriel a flat stare.
“Oh I love it when I’m right.”  Selphie clapped her hands together in excitement.
“Right about what Selph?”  Gabriel asked.
“Nothing, I’m going to go grab a quick shower.” She said evasively and ran out the room before anyone else could ask her any more questions.
“Yeah I better go get showered too if I’m going to take Sorcha to go see my contact this morning.”  Dante remarked.
“Yeah I’m going with so I’m going to go get ready.”  Ross left the room too.
“Now that I can ask.  Why did my spirit hang around Gabriel?”
“I’m not sure, I had a feeling you were still around.  That’s why I made sure…”  Gabriel didn’t finish.
      “Made sure?”
“Not important right now.”  Gabriel frowned, something had occurred to him and he wasn’t going to tell.  Kyle wouldn’t push for an answer he knew better.  Gabriel would tell him when he was ready to.
